Mario is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York State, certified to provide Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Spiritual-Sensitive Practice and anti-oppressive clinical counseling in English, Español and Spanglish.

Mario works with individuals, families and couples, grounding the delivery of clinical services in anti-oppressive practices, drawing from Western theories of psychopathology and Mesoamerican traditional methods of healing known as Curanderismo. 

Mario specializes in work with QTBIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+, dancers, immigrants, families, and people questioning gender identity. Currently a full-time employee of The Entertainment Community Fund, Mario provides mental health services and clinical case management for Entertainment Industry professionals nation-wide.
